N type and P type Solar

Utilization of solar energy is now becoming a popular and efficient mean of energy production among residential areas throughout the country. When choosing between Ntype and P type solar panels some factors need to be kept in mind. These include, space for installation, available budget, efficiency of the system, stability of solar panels and energy requirement according to usage.

N type solar panels P type solar panels
Installation Cost:

As these panels have a technology that is not much common in the market therefore, they have a higher installation cost as compared to P type solar panels. So these solar panels are slightly expensive for homeowners.

Installation Cost:

Their installation cost is much lower compared with N type panels. These panels are cheaper because there is better construction technology available in the market in conpareson to N type panels.  Therefore they are more affordable.

Life span:

Keeping in view their construction style, they have a longer life span in comparison with P type solar panels.

Life span:

They are not as long lasting as N type solar panels.

Availability:

As the construction technology used in these systems is newer as compared to the technology used in P type panels, therefore, these solar panel systems are not widely available in the market.

Availability:

The technology utilized in construction of these solar systems is available in the market from a long period of time. These solar panel systems are easly available at a much cheaper cost compared to N type solar systems.

Performance and efficiency:

Their performance level is slightly better than P type solar panels. These panels have an efficiency level of 25.7 %. These systems are able to fulfill more energy requirements.

Performance and efficiency:

They produce slightly lower amount of energy compared to N type solar panels. Their efficiency level is 23.6%.

Light induced degradation:

Due to their construction material, they are not highly affected by light induced degradation.

Light induced degradation:

These systems maybe more affected by light induced degradation defects.

Space requirement:

If the energy consumption is high and requirement is higher but the space is less then N type solar panel is better coice.

Space requirement:

If you have a huge space for installation of a comparatively bigger solar panels system then P type system will be more beter choice.

Temperature resistance:

They are more resistant to high temperatures as compared to P type solar systems.

Temperature resistance:

In comparison to N type panels they are slightly less resistant to high temperatures.
